75 miles, HR 136, 17.7mph by skaas at Garmin Connect - Details

Rode the State route 3 times. The first lap was with Jeff and Matt, the last 2 laps with Matt. It was a good constant effort. We did stop after each lap to refill with water and Gatorade. I ate 2 clifbars and 4 gels (2 without caffeine). I drank 1 water and 1 Gatorade each lap, but still ended up dehydrated. My HR bumped up about 5 beats each lap, under 130 the first lap, at 135 the second, and about 140 the last lap. I kept the speed about the same, so it looks like I need more nutrition and hydration...and more conditioning. I wasn't wrecked after the ride, but I wasn't fresh either.
